Hot deformation in nanocrystalline Ndben Feben B backward extruded rings

Radially oriented Nd-Fe-B rings are prepared by backward extrusion of fine grained melt-spun powder. Melt-spun powder with the nominal composition of Nd_30.5Fe_bal.Co_6.0Ga_0.6Al_0.2B_0.9 (wt%) is used as starting material. The effects of process variables, such as deformation temperature (T_d), strain rate (ε) and height reduction (Δh%), on the magnetic properties of the rings are investigated. A scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with an energy spectrum device is used to study the metallograph and microfracture of the extruded rings. The B_r and (BH)_max reach the optimum values at T_d=800℃, ε =0.01 mm/s, and Δh% =70%. It is found by SEM observations that the particle boundaries, which seemingly correspond to the interfaces of the starting melt-spun powders, emerge after the corrosion of metallography specimens. This is helpful for studying the effects of powder-powder interface on the local deformation and deformation homogeneity in the rings. For different spatial positions of the extruded rings, there are characteristic metallographies and microfractures. The upper end of the rings has the least deformation and worst texture, and therefore the worst magnetic properties. The magnetic properties in the radial direction increase slightly along the axis from the bottom to the middle, then steeply decrease at the upper end of the ring. The deformation and the formation-of-texturing processes are discussed. The deformation and the texturing formation of melt-spun Nd-Fe-B alloys probably involve grain boundary sliding and grain rotation, the solution-precipitation process and preferential growth of Nd₂Fe₁₄B nanograins along the easy growth a-axis.     

Adaptive panel representation for oblique collision of two vortex rings

In this article, we use a hierarchical panel method for representing vortex sheet surface motion in 3D flow to investigate the oblique collision of two vortex rings. The particles representing the sheet are advected by a regularized Biot-Savart integral with smoothed Rosenhead-Moore kernel. The particle velocities are evaluated by an adaptive treecode algorithm based on Taylor expansions in Cartesian coordinates. The method allowed us to consider late stages of a vortex rings collision, producing a funnel region. Vorticity iso-surfaces evolution is also investigated.     

Blow-up phenomena and global existence for the nonuniform weakly dissipative b-equation

We first establish the local well-posedness for the nonuniform weakly dissipative b-equation which includes both the weakly dissipative Camassa-Holm equation and the weakly dissipative Degasperis-Procesi equation as its special cases. We then study the blow-up phenomena and the long time behavior of the solutions. Two blow-up results are established for certain initial profiles. Moreover, two sufficient conditions for the decay of the solutions are presented.

假设G是一个有限群,H是G的一个子群.称H在G是s-置换的,若对G的任意的Sylow-子群Gp,有HG_p=G_pH:称H在G是弱s-可补的,若存在G的子群T使得G=HT且H∩T≤H_(sG),其中H_(sG)是所有包含在H中的G的s-置换子群生成的子群.本文给出了下列定理:设F是一个包含超可解群系u的饱和群系,有限群G有一个正规子群H使得G/H∈F.若F~*(H)的每个Sylow子群的所有极大子群在G中是弱s-可补的,其中F~*(H)是H的广义Fitting子群,则G∈F.它是J.Algebra,2007,315:192-209一文中的Skiba公开问题在极大子群情形下的肯定回答.     

具线性退化特征场对角型方程组Goursat问题的奇性形成机制

For an inhomogeneous quasilinear hyperbolic system of diagonal form, under the assumptions that the system is linearly degenerate and the C^1 norm of the boundary data is bounded, we show that the mechanism of the formation of singularities of C^1 classical solution to the Goursat problem with C^1 compatibility conditions at the origin must be an ODE type. The similar result is also obtained for the weakly discontinuous solution with C^0 compatibility conditions at the origin.

In this paper, an equivalent relation among the reflexivity, weak sequential completeness and bounded completeness in full function space is given. Some results on weakly sequential compactness of subset and the property （u） in substitution spaces are obtained.     

Investigation of the optical limiting properties of acid blue29 in various solvents

The optical limiting properties of acid blue29 solutions in different solvents are investigated. Experiments are performed using a CW He-Ne Laser beam at 632.8 nm wavelength and 35 mW power. The strength of the optical limiting action is dramatically influenced by the solvent. Multiple diffraction rings were observed when the samples were exposed to laser radiation. The effect of concentration, solvent and laser intensity on the diffraction rings are studied experimentally. Our results show that the nonlinear refraction is the dominant mechanism to explain the optical limiting behavior in acid blue29.     

弱s-拟正规子群对有限群的p-幂零性的影响

群G的子群H称为G的弱s-拟正规子群,若G有次正规子群T,使得G=HT且H ∩T≤HsG,其中HsG是包含在H中的G的最大的s-拟正规子群.本文利用Sylow p-子群的极大子群的弱s-拟正规性得到有限群为p-幂零群的一些充分条件,并给出Schur-Zassenhaus定理的一种推广.
